Skill level: Strong Intermediate

6 to 7 hours a day on horseback

Ability description: Strong intermediate with good fitness. You need to be able to ride at all paces for long hours, comfortable with covering a variety of different terrain. Please indicate health condition in your reservation.

Day 1 :
We will start from our riding school “Scuderie Ardichetto”, crossing country roads we will arrive in “Val Calanna” to continue towards the famous “Ilice of Carrinu”, old about 700 years, after a short stop for the photos , we will continue in the woods to “Ragabo” passing through the Monti “Sartorius” ancient craters formed during the pouring of 1865, we will walk on the narrow edges of the volcanoes and then return to the woods until we will reach the “Clan dei Ragazzi”, where we will stay overnight after dinner.

Day 2 :
Departure from the” Clan dei Ragazzi”, crossing the forest we will intercept the famous lava flows of 2002 that razed to the ground “Piano Provenzana”, including souvenir shops and the two hotels, we’ll coast to Monte “Crisimo”, we’ll pass by the refuge “Pietra Cannone” and We will cross the territories of “Fornazzo” and “Milo” where we make the stop for the picnic. After lunch we will return to the stable, passing through “Zafferana Etnea”.
